Like Pappoe, Bo Nix will likely be much higher on this list in a few years. Getting a five-star recruit is always exciting but that excitement is only amplified when the prospect is a quarterback and even more when they’re a legacy recruit.

Mr. Alabama football in 2018, Nix enjoyed a legendary career at Pinson Valley high school. That success led to Nix being named the number one dual-threat quarterback prospect in the nation and the 33rd overall recruit in the class.

Nix would go on to become the first true freshman to start week one for the Tigers since 1946. And while he definitely had some growing pains in his first season, Nix clearly has a ton of talent.

Overall, Nix completed 57.6 percent of his passes for 2,542 yards, 16 touchdowns and six interceptions while adding 313 yards and seven TDs on the ground.

Nix was named SEC Freshman of the Year for the 2019 season and is expected to lead the Tigers to great things in the future.
