The second-straight offensive lineman on this list, Ashley came to Auburn as an elite OT prospect out of St. John’s high school in Washington D.C.

The crown jewel of an Auburn 2017 recruiting class that ranked in the top-10 nationally, Ashley was a physically imposing 6-foot-6, 310-pound beast that like Westerman, was expected to anchor the Tigers’ offensive line.

Ashley was ranked as the 26th overall recruit in the nation and the sixth-best offensive tackle prospect.

Again like Westerman, Ashley redshirted his freshman season. Entering year number two, Ashley was expected to take the starting role at either tackle or guard. However, Ashley was listed behind RS junior OG Mike Horton on the Tigers’ week one depth chart.

The five-star prospect would appear in five games as a redshirt freshman but after the season, announced that he would be transferring to Florida Atlantic. A lack of playing time likely led to that decision.

However, after only a few months after enrolling at FAU, Ashley announced his decision to transfer once again this past August. The same month, Ashley enrolled at Florida A&M University, making him the first-ever five-star recruit to play for a Historically Black College and University (HBCU.)

Ashley appeared in seven games for the Rattlers this past season and looks to be the full-time guy for the team as a redshirt junior.
