Recruiting is a big deal in the state of Alabama and college football’s biggest rivals often duke it out for recruits.

The Iron Bowl is one of the biggest rivalry games in all of sports and the hatred between Auburn and Alabama is the stuff of legend. That rivalry doesn’t just apply when the two teams match up against each other but also to the realm of recruiting.

The two rivals are always battling for top talent, especially in the state of Alabama, This has led to several players choosing one school and then later flipping to the other side.

With three players in Bama’s 2020 recruiting class (Demouy Kennedy, Quindarrius Robinson and Javion Cohen) all being one-time Auburn commits, let’s take a look at some of the past players to decommit from Auburn only to later play for their biggest rival.

It may be odd to imagine some of these players in an Auburn jersey but that was the reality at one point in time. With the 247Sports decommit database only going back to 2012, all of the players on this list will be from then or later.
