Just like their group of running backs, Auburn’s core of receivers in 2020 is one of their deepest in quite awhile.

Under Gus Malzahn, Auburn football has been known for their run game. And to be fair, that has brought them a fair amount of success. And although Auburn has definitely had great receivers like Sammie Coates, Ryan Davis, Darius Slayton and Duke Williams over the years, one thing they haven’t been known for is their depth at the wide receiver position.

Fortunately, that’s a luxury that the 2020 team does seem to have. Headlined by the likes of Seth Williams and Anthony Schwartz, Auburn’s group of receivers looks like it could be the most talented group that the program has had in quite some time from top to bottom.

I’ve already looked at the incredible depth of Auburn’s running backs going into the season but what about the Tigers’ exciting group of pass-catchers?

Auburn has ranked in the top-five in the SEC in passing yards just once during the Malzahn era but with the options they have this year, it could be quite the special year through the air for the Auburn offense.
