Auburn has way more to offer at receiver than just Williams and Schwartz and while “complimentary guys” may have a negative connotation, I could see any of these following wideouts having great seasons in 2020.

The best of them all is probably RS Senior Eli Stove. Stove is the most experienced wideout on the Tigers’ roster but has had to deal with injuries throughout his career. After tearing his ACL in early 2018 and having to sit out the following season, Stove was able to have the best season of his career in 2019.

Last year, Stove recorded 37 receptions for 321 yards and three touchdowns. Nothing eye-popping but very solid considering his previous injury history. Stove is blessed with great speed and acceleration and like Schwartz, Stove has been effective rushing the ball.

The veteran receiver has tallied 503 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground in his career. With another year of experience and recovery, I expect the senior to once again post career highs in most categories. He’s got the speed to be a major contributor in the SEC if he can stay healthy.

Someone else I could see post a breakout year is senior Zach Farrar. Farrar, a grad transfer from Youngstown State was on the team last year but didn’t get a ton of playing time. However, in the playtime he did get, the results were promising.

The grad transfer recorded only had three receptions for 41 yards but three of those catches were for touchdowns. Farrar has been described as a “twitchy” athlete and at 6-foot-4, he could be a great red zone guy for the Tigers.

With the departures of guys like Will Hastings, Marquis McClain and Jashawn Sheffield as well as another year in Auburn’s system, Farrar could be a dark horse impact guy in 2020.
