Like usual, Auburn’s regular-season finale will come against their biggest rival. The Iron Bowl is the biggest rivalry in all of college football and you better believe the Alabama Crimson Tide will be looking for revenge after the Tigers’ 48-45 victory in 2019.

The Crimson Tide are seemingly always filled to the brim with elite talent and 2020 should really be no different. Like LSU, Alabama lost some stars from last year’s squad but return enough talent to once again be contenders.

There are so many worth options here. I think most people would pick wide receiver Devonta Smith, linebacker Dylan Moses or even left tackle Alex Leatherwood as all three of those guys have a good chance to be First-Team All-SEC selections.

All of those are worthy options but I went with my gut and picked senior running back Najee Harris. After sitting behind guys like Damien Harris and Josh Jacobs, Harris finally got the opportunity to be the lead back and he took that opportunity and ran with it.

As a junior, Harris torched defenses for 1,224 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. But Harris isn’t only effective as a runner. The senior is also a great pass catcher as he proved with his 27 catches for 304 yards and seven TDs last season.

At 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds, Harris is an absolute monster of a running back and as much as I hyped up fellow SEC backs Kylin Hill and Rakeem Boyd, it’s Harris who, in my opinion, has the best chance to find himself on an All-American list by the end of the season.

With Tua Tagovailoa no longer under center, look for Alabama to lean on Harris and the run game a bit more as they try to break in (presumably) Mac Jones at quarterback.
