Jacques Turner has been a star for the Golden Eagles since he first stepped on the field back in 2017. In his first two seasons, the 6-foot-1, 247-pound edge rusher recorded a combined 53 tackles, 17.5 TFLs, nine sacks and three forced fumbles.

The former Freshman All-American turned that success into his best season yet in 2019. The veteran pass rusher recorded 46 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss and six sacks — all of which were career highs.

Auburn struggled to put away Southern Miss back in 2018 but still, they should have no problem handling the Golden Eagles next season.

With that said, don’t be surprised to see Turner excelling against what should be a young and inexperienced Auburn O-line.

Honorable mentions: Tim Jones and Arvin Fletcher
