If Kylin Hill is the SEC’s best returning running back, Arkansas Razorbacks RB Rakeem Boyd definitely gives him a run for his money. The former Last Chance U star rushed for 734 yards during his first year on campus and in 2019, he stepped up his game even more.
Last season, Boyd put up 1,133 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on an impressive 6.2 yards per carry. A 6-foot and 215 pounds with absolute burner speed, Boyd should once again be the focal point of the Razorbacks offense.
Look for Boyd to put together a second-straight 1,000-yard season regardless of Arkansas’ team success. The senior should be a pretty high pick in the NFL Draft next year but for the time being, he’s stuck trying to lead Arkansas to more than two wins.
