Auburn has had both good and bad under center since Cam Newton.

Cam Newton may have only played one season for the Tigers but the Heisman winner definitely made his mark in Auburn football history. Since his lone season, Auburn has had mixed luck when it comes to starting quarterbacks.

Just two seasons after Newton lit the college football world on fire, Auburn went 3-9 and then went to the BCS National Championship game the very next season. Much of that success (and lack thereof) is due to who the Tigers have had under center.

Since Newton, Auburn has had 10 different quarterbacks start at least one game. They all had their own stories and each left their mark on the program both positively and negatively.

With quarterback being arguably the most well-known player on any football team, let’s take a look at who has played the position for Auburn since the departure of one of college football’s biggest superstars.
