Below is a list of players on the 2020 roster that were not listed on last year’s roster which includes players from the 2020 recruiting class, incoming transfers, former players returning and new walk-on players.

Players will be listed with their official heights and weights as well as their jersey numbers (in parenthesis) and year.

Quarterbacks

Grant Loy (14) – 6’5β€³/230 – Senior

A big-bodied, dual-threat transfer from Bowling Green, Loy tallied 10 total touchdowns in 12 games for the Falcons last year.

Chayil Garnett (15) – 6’1β€³/216 – Freshman

Three-star dual-threat prospect out of Lakeland, Florida.

Sawyer Pate (20) – 6’1β€³/206 – Freshman

walk-on QB from Alabaster, Alabama.

Running backs

Tank Bigsby (4) – 6’0β€³/204 – Freshman

The star of Auburn’s 2020 recruiting class, Bigsby was one of the best running back prospects in the country and is a major candidate to contribute right away for Auburn.

Wide receivers

Kobe Hudson (5) – 6’1β€³/196 – Freshman

Four-star receiver out of Lagrange, Georgia.

Ze’Vian Capers (9) – 6’4β€³/194 – Freshman

Tall and athletic four-star wideout from Alpharetta, Georgia.

Elijah Canion (17) – 6’4β€³/213 – Freshman

Three-star receiver with excellent size.

Caylin Newton (23) – 5’11β€³/201 – Junior

The younger brother of Cam Newton and quarterback at Howard University for the past three seasons.

Jackson Billings (80) – 5’10β€³/175 – Freshman

Walk-on receiver from Huntsville.

J.J. Evans (81) – 6’3β€³/210 – Freshman

Another four-star receiver with excellent size, Evans was the No. 6 recruit in the state of Alabama last year.

Tight ends

Flynn Driscoll (40) – 6’6β€³/242 – Sophomore

The younger brother of Philadelphia Eagles and former Auburn OT Jack Driscoll, Flynn is a walk-on TE.

Brandon Frazier (87) – 6’7β€³/270 – Freshman

A four-star prospect and top-10 tight end recruit. Would be the biggest Auburn player to catch a pass since Cam Newton in 2010.

J.J. Pegues (89) – 6’2β€³/300 – Freshman

No. 6 tight end recruit in the nation last year and the heaviest non-lineman on the roster.

Offensive line

Tate Johnson (54) – 6’3β€³/309 – Freshman

Three-star OG out of Lagrange, Georgia.

Brenden Coffey (55) – 6’5β€³/279 – Junior

One of the top JUCO offensive tackles prospects in the nation.

Avery Jernigan (57) – 6’3β€³/296 – Freshman

Another three-star OG out of Georgia.

Brandon Council (71) – 6’4β€³/325 – JuniorΒ 

Transfer from Akron where he was a three-year starter for the Zips. Has started at both tackle positions, left guard and center.

Jeremiah Wright (76) – 6’4β€³/340 – Freshman

A big, three-star O-lineman from Selma, Alabama.

Kilian Zierer (77) – 6’7β€³/294 – Junior

Originally from Germany, one of the top JUCO prospects in the country.

Defensive line

Zykeivous Walker (3) – 6’4/266 – Freshman

The top-rated defensive player in Auburn’s 2020 recruiting class. Strongside defensive end.

Jay Hardy (4) – 6’4β€³/299 – Freshman

Four-star defensive tackle recruit but listed at defensive end on the roster.

Daniel Foster-Allen (90) – 6’4β€³/250 – Freshman

Three-star defensive end out of Mobile.

Dre Butler (49) – 6’4β€³/304 – Sophomore

Rivals.com’s top-rated JUCO prospect in the nation. Listed at DT on the roster.

Marquis Burks (92) – 6’2β€³/312- Junior

Three-star JUCO defensive tackle.

Buck

Romello Height (37) – 6’3β€³/215 – Freshman

A three-star linebacker from Georgia listed at the Buck position.

Linebacker

Desmond Tisdol (30) – 6’0β€³/230 – Freshman

Four-star inside linebacker from Georgia.

Wesley Steiner (32) – 6’0β€³/227 – Freshman

Top-100 recruit and one of the gems of Auburn’s 2020 class.

Cam RIley (35) – 6’4β€³/209 – Freshman

A Tall, four-star outside linebacker out of Evergreen, Alabama.

Jake Levant (46) – 6’1β€³/228 – Freshman

Walk-on linebacker from Vestavia Hills

Defensive backs

Chris Thompson Jr. (5) – 6’1β€³/202 – Freshman

Four-star safety prospect from Duncanville, Texas.

Ladarius Tennison (13) – 5’10β€³/197 – Freshman

Rated as the No. 4 athlete in the country last year. Likely to play safety

Marco Domio (22) – 6’1β€³/180 – Junior

A top-10 JUCO prospect in the country. Coming from the same junior college as Cam Newton.

Eric Reed Jr. (24) – 6’0β€³/187 – Freshman

One of the top recruits in the state of Louisiana. Can play either cornerback or safety.

Special Teams

Marshall Meyers (38) – 5’8β€³/185 – Freshman

Walk-on punter from nearby Opelika.

Crimmins Hankinson (41) – 6’0β€³/198 – Sophomore

Transfer punter from Gardner-Webb University who averaged 39.6 yards per punt for the Bulldogs as a freshman.

Aidan Marshall (41) – 6’1β€³/215 – Junior

If Marshall sounds familiar, that’s because the former walk-on was Auburn’s starter in 2017 and to start the 2018 season. However, after losing the job to Arryn Siposs, Marshall left the team but remained at Auburn. Marshall is now back on the roster and should be one of the favorites to start in 2020.

Reed Hughes (62) – 6’1β€³/212 – Freshman

Freshman long-snapper from Conway, Arkansas

Evan McGuire (93) – 6’5β€³/200 – Freshman

Rated as a three-star kicker prospect by ESPN. Walk-on from Thompson high school in Alabaster, Alabama.
