Who are some of the players Auburn fans should keep an eye on going into their new Week 1 matchup against Kentucky?

Auburn already had Kentucky on its 2020 schedule. Originally, the Wildcats were supposed to travel to Jordan-Hare Stadium in Week 5 in what was supposed to be the Tigers’ SEC home opener.

Obviously, many things have changed since then and with the SEC’s recent schedule announcement, Auburn will now have to face off against Kentucky to begin the season. As of now, the SEC is still planning to go ahead with the 2020 football season so, assuming that still happens, what can the Tigers expect from the SEC East foe?

I’ve already written an in-depth, position-by-position breakdown of the entire Wildcats roster which goes more into the overall talent of the team but who are some players in particular that Auburn should look out for?

Kentucky is no longer the doormat of the SEC as they were in years past and head coach Mark Stoops has led his team to 18 combined wins in the last two seasons (more than Auburn has in that span) and certainly can’t be overlooked as a quality opponent to start the season.
