Auburn Football was always going to be a favorite against Tennessee this coming Saturday, but they have opened up as sizable 10-point favorites against the Volunteers.

Happy Monday folks! Fly War Eagle is flying high once again, and things seem to be looking promising on all fronts Auburn football…a weird statement considering the team just had its first (and hopefully final) game cancellation due to an elevated level of COVID-19 cases at Mississippi State.

The Tigers would have more than likely rolled over the Bulldogs, but SEC Football is about as unpredictable as it gets these days. Let’s not forget the Will Muschamp-coached South Carolina Gamecocks were able to steal one at Williams-Brice Stadium just last month.

Either way, this week provides a juicy spread for those college football bettors looking to score on some primetime SEC action this coming Saturday. Auburn football opened up as 10-point favorites according to VegasInsider.com, and Alabama.com writer Tom Green reporting that the Tigers could see some action shift the line even further in their favor:

"Auburn is set to return to the field Saturday at home against Tennessee, with the Tigers opening as 10-point favorites against the Vols, according to VegasInsider.com.The line quickly shifted Sunday afternoon to make Auburn an 11-point betting favorite for the cross-division matchup, which is set for a 6 p.m. kickoff at Jordan-Hare Stadium and will air on ESPN."

Tennessee has been less than impressive this season, having lost their last four in a row–albeit to a murderer’s row of opponents that included the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, and the #3 ranked (at the time) Georgia Bulldogs. The War Eagle is slightly less forgiving of their 34-7 drubbing at the hands of the University of Kentucky Wildcats at Neyland Stadium.

Either way, they will have their hands full this coming Saturday against a team looking to make up for two early-season defeats that hopefully won’t be the impetus for keeping Auburn out of the College Football Playoff.

Next. Tigers may have the next dual sports star on their hands. dark
