Former Auburn basketball star Isaac Okoro was held scoreless in his second professional game. How did the peanut gallery react?

There are several different takeaways you can have regarding the scoreless performance of former Auburn basketball star Isaac Okoro. You could either look at the glass half full and point at the fact that he has yet to experience defeat at the professional level.

Then there’s the other view, where you could recognize that he was pretty bad on the offensive end on Saturday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers improved to 2-0 mainly because of the other four starters and Cedi Osman. Collin Sexton was the game’s high scorer, topping 30 points (32) and sinking the game-tying shot to send the game to double overtime. Darius Garland had a balanced stat-line (21/10/5) and Andre Drummond also chimed in with a double-double (23 points, 16 rebounds). Cedi Osman’s 22 points could certainly give the Cavs second thoughts about the starting five when juxtaposed next to Okoro’s performance.

While just his second professional game, the man they call “Ice” is probably looking to forget this game, but what would Twitter be for if not for not letting someone live something regrettable down?

When someone goes scoreless in over 40 minutes of game action, Twitter does its thing…and Saturday night was no deviation from the norm:

Okoro did enough defensively not to get pulled, but I’m sure he has learned from this night. At least there weren’t any fans in the stands to give him a hard time about it.

Next. B/R would have preferred Hawks to Cavs for Okoro. dark
