Former Auburn football star and 2018 second-round pick Kerryon Johnson had a knee-slapper of a response to a Twitter fan for calling him out on having hobbies.

As long as Kerryon Johnson has the hashtag #WarEagle in his Twitter bio, Fly War Eagle is going to cover him as though he was still barreling over linebackers and outrunning secondaries for Auburn football.

Especially when he makes us proud by standing up for himself and squashing a Twitter troll for having the nerve to call him out for having a hobby in his life outside of playing football:

Mr. Stack of Rocks admits in his bio that he is “thinking too hard”. Perhaps that’s why he is trying to crunch the numbers in his head to justify why Johnson should be in the gym (or wherever he thinks he should be) instead of unwinding with some Call of Duty.

From an athletic standpoint, rest is just as vital to a player’s health and conditioning as training is. While Johnson obviously cannot take his foot off the gas, I’m going to assume he didn’t make it to the Plains and then parlay that into a professional career in the NFL by undertraining so that he could reach the next prestige in Call of Duty.

Johnson is on too high of a cloud for the likes of @mattjhill71 to bring him down, as his wife just announced that she is pregnant with the couple’s first child:

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but fans need not tell professional or amateur athletes how to spend their time. Let them do what they do, and you contribute however you can.
