Former Auburn football defensive end Big Kat Bryant’s transfer saga took another turn on Tuesday, with the new Volunteer taking down his post celebrating his move to Knoxville.
The recent Tennessee coaching drama on Rocky Top makes the 2020 Auburn football coaching snafu a distant and tame memory in comparison.
Jeremy Pruitt getting fired and heavily investigated for recruiting violations was the first big Volunteer announcement of the week, and it made sense considering Kevin Steele’s recent hiring for a somewhat ambiguous role as an analyst.
We all know what hiring that man as an underling means (it means saying hello to college football Judas).
Yesterday, though, things got hilariously weird:

All I wanted was a fry from McDonalds and now I’m committed to the University of Tennessee. No interviews. Please respect my decision pic.twitter.com/eZp69ExzPl

Had to see if McDonalds still offered the Tennessee Vols combo with the bag of cash. pic.twitter.com/u9hLKjaRy8

All of this incredibly silly news about what Tennessee coaches were doing to woo players (and still ended up making minimal noise in the SEC) must have played a factor in Big Kat Bryant deleting his post announcing his transfer to Knoxville
Big Kat Bryant, the Auburn defensive lineman who previously announced his plans to attend Tennessee, deleted his Twitter post announcing his commitment to Tennessee.

Bryant must feel a considerable amount of regret tying his name to a school that is now more mem-able than any other besides UCONN, on whom the New York Times, unfortunately, brought heat upon by announcing as the National Champions of the 2020 season for not playing a single game.
Either way, the former Tiger appears to be headed back to the transfer portal…unless there’s a plan in place to return to the Plains.
