Blake Rambusch took to Twitter this evening to officially announce his commitment to the Auburn baseball program. Hailing from Georgetown, Texas, Rambusch was on the Fall 2019 baseball roster at Grayson College.

Primarily playing at short stop, Rambusch comes from a JUCO ranked #6 by Perfect Game USA. He was last year’s #19 on PBR Texas’ list of Top 50 JUCO prospects, and was praised for his natural leadership.

National scouting supervisor Brian Sakowski emphasizes the impact Blake Rambusch will make for the Auburn baseball team as a versatile infielder and competent hitter:

2021 won’t be just any given season for Auburn baseball…or any other NCAA baseball club for that matter.

The COVID-19 pandemic–yes, the same pandemic that wiped out the conclusion of the 2020 season–has not gone anywhere. The NCAA has gone on with football and basketball seasons, but both have had a record number of postponements and cancellations.

Luckily, SEC ADs approved a normal baseball season structure, and emphasized no change to the season schedule. And with a tough SEC schedule ahead, the Tigers need every stud they can get.

Rambusch has the potential to possibly replace Ryan Bliss, who will more than likely be drafted.
