After putting a stop to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will head to Super Bowl LV and take with them two former Auburn football players.

In his first year on the Bucs, Tom Brady will be going to his tenth Super Bowl.

Yes, tenth.

Also appearing in Super Bowl LV are Carlton Davis and Jamel Dean, former members of the Auburn football team who areĀ performing admirably in the NFL.

Carlton Davis, a true freshman starter in 2015, played cornerback for the Tigers for three seasons Ā in 38 games. He had 138 career tackles at Auburn and three interceptions.

Davis is currently in his third season as cornerback with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the 2020 seaso, Ā he had 52 tackles and four interceptions.

Jamel Dean played Auburn football for two seasons in 2017 and 2018 after being redshirted in 2015 and injured in 2016. Dean also started at cornerback and racked up 73 total tackles as well as two interceptions.

Dean has notched impressive feats for the Buccaneers, holding the franchise record for most passes defended by a rookie at 17. He was also the highest rated rookie for the team in the 2019 season.

The fifty-fifth Super Bowl will be hosted in Tampa Bay at Raymond James Stadium, and the Bucs become the first team to play the biggest game in football at their home stadium. It will also be the lowest attended Super Bowl due to COVID-19 limiting fan attendance to just 22,000.

So, Tiger fans, even if you arenā€™t the biggest NFL fan, thereā€™s still two reasons to watch Super Bowl LVā€“Carlton Davis and Jamel Dean.

These two former Auburn guys will be making big moves in front of the world on February 7, and we at Fly War Eagle are ready to cheer them on.
