The Auburn football program historically recruits well in Florida, and they’re looking to keep that up with class of 2022 target Omar Graham Jr. The Fort Lauderdale, FL native is being heavily recruited by Florida State and Miami, but Graham received an offer from the Tigers on March 2.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, Graham’s high school team was faced with a shortened season due to the Coronavirus, but he still managed to make it onto the list of top South Florida players in his class

"In a coronavirus-shortened season, Graham still put up eye-popping numbers, racking up 38 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and nine sacks. He was a second-team All-County selection."

Graham named his top ten schools on February 26, prior to receiving an offer from Auburn. Florida State and Miami are on the list of course, but Graham notes that his recruitment is still open.

Only two SEC schools are on the list–South Carolina and Florida–but it’s also worth noting that UCF is listed in Graham’s top ten as well. Could this turn into yet another battle between the Knights and the Tigers?

Graham received his offer from UCF on February 23, meaning that the offer definitely came from Gus Malzahn’s staff. Not to mention the fact that T-Will is tagged in the offer tweet. Of course, Graham is naturally being heavily recruited by in-state schools, but is the Auburn offer enough to rearrange those top ten?

Hopefully, Auburn football’s recruiting history in Florida and the new culture that Bryan Harsin is building will be enough for Omar Graham Jr. to leave the Sunshine State and call The Plains his new home.
