Earlier today Auburn athletic director Allen Green announced Jordan-Hare Stadium would be operating at full capacity for the 2021 Auburn Football season. Now Auburn has officially announced which games will be the official theme games for the 2021 season, which include the “Wear White” game, “Wear Navy” game, & “Wear Orange” game.

According to the Auburn Athletics website, the Tigers will kick off the season with the “Wear White” game against Akron at 6 pm/CT at Jordan Hare Stadium in Week 1 of the 2021 season. This should be a popular announcement for fans looking to make their first appearance in Jordan Hare Stadium in over a year.

As usual over the past few seasons when Georgia visits the Plains, the game will be the “Wear Navy” game for the 2021 season when the Bulldogs head to the Plains on October 9th. This could be inspired by the 2017 game, in which the #10 Auburn Tigers dominated the #1 Georgia Bulldogs 40-17 in what was the “Wear Navy” game that season.

Ole Miss will come to Jordan Hare on October 30th in what could be a pivotal game for each program and their pursuit for the 2021 SEC Championship. This game has been announced as the “Wear Orange” game, which has been one of the more popular themes for the Auburn fan base since the themes became a yearly tradition. One of the most famous “Wear Orange” games was the 2014 LSU game, in which Nick Marshall and the Tigers dominated LSU for a 41-7 win and took control of the SEC West for that season.

Auburn football and the rest of college football are exploring ways to get fans into the stadium rather than watching the games from home. Penn State has set the bar extremely high with their “White-Out” games, while Tennessee has also received much praise for their “Checkered-Game” in recent years.

Auburn fans make sure to wear your respective colors to Jordan Hare this season and continue to make Jordan Hare one of the toughest environments in College Football!
