Though first-year head coach Bryan Harsin has been working hard on the recruiting trail for the Auburn football team, there are most definitely still holes to be filled for the coming season. Harsin and co. are no doubt looking to the transfer portal for talent to join the 2021 Tigers.

All eyes have now turned to left tackle Dare Rosenthal, a former LSU Tiger who recently entered the transfer portal. ESPN reports that LSU head coach Ed Orgeron previously described the starting left tackle as a potential first-round draft pick.

Of course, the offensive line has historically been a problem area for the Tigers, so a 6-foot-7, 327-pound lineman would be a welcome addition to the roster. T.J. Finley, a former LSU Tiger himself, agrees and has made public his recruiting attempts to get his former teammate on the Plains:

So far, Auburn football has not been named as a program going after Rosenthal. This could be due to the fact that his transfer seems to be the result of a violation of team rules and a suspension following, according to CatsPause.com. The site also reports that the Baylor Bears could be a school to watch due to Rosenthal’s ties to several former LSU staff members now in Waco.

According to Kentucky Sports Radio, the former LSU Tiger is most likely to stay in the SEC and become a Kentucky Wildcat:

"Baylor is involved here, and I have heard Miami likes him as well, but I’d be surprised if he didn’t end up at Kentucky and perhaps push the Wildcats to the top of the nation’s offensive line rankings."

However, the left tackle is not yet committed anywhere and it’s not too late for the Auburn Tigers and T.J. Finley to swoop in and secure the former LSU starter.
