Auburn football RB transfer option #2: Deondrick Glass

If you are looking for an extremely talented running back that has star potential, then look no further than Deondrick Glass. Glass transferred from Oklahoma State on October 29th, but has yet to find a new program as of today.

Glass was a former 4-star recruit out of Katy, TX and was the 2nd-highest rated commit in Oklahoma State’s 2018 recruiting class. Glass held offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, and multiple other schools but ultimately decided to commit to the Cowboys. Glass rushed for over 6,000 yards in his four years at Katy High School, while having 100 rushing touchdowns before he graduated.

Glass is a player that oozes potential and could be one of the most underrated pickups by the Tigers this offseason if they pursue Glass. Glass has 4.42 speed with a 5-foot-11 frame and weighs 205 pounds, which makes him a perfect complimentary piece to Shivers and Bigsby.

Pass blocking and catching out of the backfield were two of the glaring weaknesses to Glass’ game, but sitting behind Bigsby and working with Coach Williams could fix a lot of those issues in his game.

This may be a stretch pick here, but the Tigers could land a talented 3rd option for the running back room and continue their pursuit to lead the SEC in rushing yards once again. Coach Williams could be a huge factor in this recruitment due to his development and history, so do not count out the Tigers here.
