Youth athletes in Alabama will be able to learn from some of Auburn football’s best at the Princeps elite youth football camp, which is set to be hosted on two separate Saturdays at the end of this month.
On the 24th in Montgomery, and on the 31st in Birmingham, Smoke Monday, TJ Finley, Owen Pappoe, and Shaun Shivers will be hosting the camps, which have been greenlit in the wake of the NCAA’s new NIL rules.
The group is a mix of elite defenders and prominent skill position backups.
Each had a unique way of marketing the camps via Twitter:
Since NCAA athletes have been eligible to make money off of their name, image, and likeness, several players have landed endorsement deals. In this case, the players are using their name and their skills to market the opportunity for kids in middle school to meet the very athletes they aspire to reach the status and level of achievement of.
In this state, it’s Alabama and Auburn football. Wearing either of those uniforms means you’ve reached the peak of the game.
Now, kids will have a better opportunity to be noticed and get to that point because of the rules now allowing the Tigers to hold an elite youth showcase camp
