Auburn football continues their hot streak of commitments this week as the Tigers have now landed two commitments this week, which gives the Tigers five commitments in the 2022 recruiting class.

Micah Riley-Ducker announced his commitment via Instagram tonight, in which he announced he would continue his football career on the Plains. This gives the Tigers the most momentum they have had on the trail since Bryan Harsin stepped onto the Plains and more commitments could be on the horizon.

Riley-Ducker is a 3-star prospect out of Bellevue, Nebraska and ranks as the #371 overall prospect in the country and the #15 tight end in the 2022 recruiting class. Rivals rates Riley-Ducker is a 4-star prospect, which further exemplifies his talent and how big his commitment is for the Tigers.

The Tigers beat out Iowa State, Iowa, and Illinois for the talented tight end and it shows how far Auburn football has come in terms of tight end perception across the recruiting landscape. New tight ends coach Brad Bedell is making his presence known on the recruiting trail and just landed the biggest tight end commitment Auburn football has seen in some time.

Riley-Ducker caught up with Keith Niebuhr on his recruiting visit this past month and had this to say about his visit to the Plains:

"“I loved it. Never been to a city that loving. Everybody there is kind, everybody loves each other, there are no issues or outside problems. Everybody just loves football. I’ve never really had that experience.”"

The Tigers now move up to #72 in the 2022 recruiting rankings for 247Sports, which is a big increase from outside the Top-80 where they sat just a few nights ago. The Tigers still rank last in the SEC right now, but much work is needed to be done since Auburn football has the fewest number of commits in the SEC in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
