Auburn football is entering the 2021 season with a fair number of doubters due to an overhauled coaching staff, an underwhelming recent postseason history, and a roster that was diced up and down the depth chart with transfer portal and NFL Draft departures this past offseason.

2020 preseason All-SEC selections K.J. Britt and Big Kat Bryant are in the NFL playing for the defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and with former head coach Gus Malzahn in Orlando at UCF. Christian Tutt’s status is ambiguous, though we know his future won’t be on the Plains.

On the offensive end of the former All-SEC spectrum, Seth Williams is also going to be playing professionally, though his home games will be in the Mile High City with the Broncos. Bo Nix will be back, but his expectations are no longer as gaudy.

The Tigers have a chance to shock the nation this coming year because of this. A-Day gave a glimpse to a more varied approach on the offensive end, and with a coach who is putting QB play at the top of the list of priorities–as evidenced by his transfer addition of the right-handed cannon attached to TJ Finley–there could be fireworks from an Auburn football offense that opponents may expect to play conservatively as they’ve grown accustomed to.

Who is going to be the ones doing the dirty work in 2021 punching the pigskin into the end zone? Well, that is exactly what Fly War Eagle will be exploring today.

Here are our projected leaders at each positions in touchdowns during the upcoming 2021 season for Auburn football:
