What Sunisa Lee did today cannot be understated.
After Team USA Olympics’ G.O.A.T. Simone Biles stepped down from competition–and FYI, FWE does not tolerate slander considering the horrific abuse she experienced at the hands of Larry Nasser–due to mental health-related issues, Lee stepped up in her absence and delivered what will surely be considered a performance for the ages when enough time has passed since this age has ended.
Sunisa Lee is an Auburn 2022 Gymnastics commit. She will be bringing all of the fanfare of stepping up to the plate at 18 years old and bringing home the gold for her country to the Plains this fall.
And she is going to become very wealthy on her way down here from the freezing Minnesota snow.
Auburn football is seeing a good number of players land deals with local businesses, and Alabama Crimson Tide QB Bryce Young even landed a deal with Cashapp.
But what Sunisa Lee could do? Forget it. After winning gold for Team USA following the loss of Biles, the future Tiger will be a commercial break regular for the foreseeable future.
Tiger fans took to social media to share their excitement for Lee’s future in East Central Alabama, and how lucrative it’s going to be:
I mean we’re talking about companies like Nike, Subway, Wheaties, every Greek yogurt brand, Chipotle, etc - the options feel limitless.

Serious question - could Suni end up being the highest paid college athlete in the country? https://t.co/glIekSY27L
Bo Nix on a regional sweet tea brand. Suni on nationwide McDonalds and Nike ads.

The NIL has changed college sports forever, but when most think about its effects, they more than likely think football or basketball.
An American hero, not just in East Central Alabama, the entire state of Alabama, or the SEC, could well be the highest-paid NIL athlete in the country.
Better order those Auburn gymnastics season tickets now, Tiger fans.
