Auburn football fans are never a quiet bunch. Just ask Penn State Twitter about what happened to the ‘We Are’ hashtag.

Given the connection to former Auburn football head coach Gus Malzahn, UCF games are a must-watch when on national T.V…and on a weeknight, which they have been two of their first three weeks of the season.

With Bryan Harsin’s offense humming along, Tiger fans tend to get frustrated at little things in the Knights’ offensive attack in its first season under Malzahn.

Some are things they wish they could have seen:

And some were frustrated at what they actually saw:

Dillon Gabriel threw two early touchdowns in a continuation of what has been a spectacular season early on. Expectedly running over Bethune-Cookman with three TDs–with two from the air and one massive run Malzahn wrongly compared to a Cam Newton run–followed a brilliant comeback win against Boise State Week One.

Barning Knight lauded the NFL prospect’s rocket of a left arm:

Of course, it takes two to tango. While Louisville came on strong to tie the game, they started off sluggish, and Ron aka “Rabid AU” was as blunt as blunt can be in his assessment of the Cardinals:

Louisville is 1-1 after a Labor Day loss to Ole Miss at the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff and a 30-3 stomping of Eastern Kentucky.

Time will tell to see if the Knights can stay undefeated in 2021 through Week Three.
