Olympic gold medalist and Auburn gymnast Suni Lee made her Dancing with the Stars debut last night on ABC, and Auburn fans all over gathered around their TVs to show support. In the Season 30 premiere, viewers learned Lee will be partnered with professional dancer Sasha Farber.

Lee and Farber danced the jive in their first performance, and received 7’s across the board from the four judges, giving them a total score of 28 out of 40. The pair tied with Amanda Kloots and Bersten for the second-highest score, falling behind Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson at the top with a 29.

Auburn fans showed up on Twitter in full force to support the Auburn gymnast, raving about how great her performance was and showing their support for their fellow Tiger–even those who were never previously fans of the long-running show:

No eliminations took place this week, but the votes from episode one will carry over into the elimination round on episode two. Though voting is close for this week, viewers can vote for Suni Lee and Sasha by texting “SUNI” to 21523 for the rest of the season.
