Key Player #2: BJ Ojulari

This LSU defensive lineman is a force to be reckoned with on the football field. With 4.5 sacks on the season and the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week award already under his belt, Ojulari is going to have to be one of the main focuses of Auburn football’s offensive line in Death Valley.

Ojulari leads the SEC in sacks and ranks seventh in the nation. He made a huge play on third and goal in LSU’s matchup versus Mississippi State, holding the Bulldogs to just a field goal in whole first half. Mike Bobo’s offense will absolutely have to make plays in the red zone if Auburn wants to beat LSU.

Key Player #3: Cameron Wire

Left tackle Cam Wire will likely be returning to play this weekend after going down in LSU’s first game this season versus UCLA. The Bayou Bengals have been enternaining a carousel of left tackles after Wire’s knee injury, but their #1 choice could be returning versus Auburn.

Wire had a strong sophomore season in 2020, but hasn’t had much experience this season. Unfortunately for LSU, Auburn’s total defense ranks 17th in the country, meaning LSU’s O-line will be facing their toughest defense yet.

And, while the Auburn Tigers don’t exactly have a lockdown offensive line, they do have one that is experienced and has played as a unit for four games. With all the injuries, LSU’s O-line has been different every weekend which should give Auburn a little advantage.
