Before Auburn football fans witnessed the best win of the Bryan Harsin era (by far) down in Death Valley in a 24-19 triumph at Tiger Stadium, they witnessed one of Week 5’s most shocking losses involving a certain former Tigers coach and chirpy transfer.
UCF football, which is now led by Gus Malzahn and sports Big Kat Bryant on the DL, lost to the previously win-less Navy football program in Annapolis by a score of 34-30.
Any plans of playing in a New Year’s Six bowl game for UCF went with it after their second straight loss after dropping a Friday night affair to Louisville Week 3.
After the noise coming from Bryant a few weeks ago when Auburn football lost to Penn State in their White Out game, Tiger fans made sure to let him have it, sending a barrage of ‘welps’ his way:

Bryant had himself an active game, collecting seven tackles total with four being unassisted. He’s already on his way to having career-highs in tackles, having just four less than his previous career-high through four games in the AAC.
That said, UCF’s run defense was as porous as possible, ceding 348 rushing yards to a Navy team they knew was going to run the ball down their throats.
Simply put, the Knights weren’t prepared for the Midshipmen, who had a 10 point-per-game pace before surpassing their entire season total Saturday in the shocker.
Their schedule only gets tougher with #5 Cincinnati looming in two weeks that’s sandwiched between potentially troubling matchups against East Carolina and Memphis.
