With the Penn State Whiteout in our rearview mirrors, Auburn football is gearing up for their biggest game yet this season against the #2 Georgia Bulldogs. Bo Nix and the offense will go up against arguably the best defense in the nation to try to break the Dawgs’ winning streak that goes back to last season.
The kickoff for The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry will be at 2:30 p.m. central time, which means that Tiger fans are in for a full day of tailgating prior to the game. One option for fans this weekend includes a specialty tailgate brought to the Plains by Amazon Prime Video and The Tailgate Tour.
Auburn is the fifth stop on the tour, with the event already having visited Michigan, Florida, Oklahoma, and LSU. The Tailgate Tour spent last weekend in Death Valley for LSU’s loss to the Tigers. According to their press release, Amazon Prime will be partnering with Beyond Meat and Poppi soda for their weekend in Auburn:
"Amazon Prime Video is hitting the road and celebrating the college football season by participating in the largest and longest-running fan experience in college sports, The Tailgate Tour, alongside plant-based meat brand Beyond Meat and prebiotic soda company Poppi, to give fans in college towns across the country, including Auburn, a one-of-a-kind, socially conscious tailgate experience that promotes better living—for both attendees and the planet."
The tailgate will be located at 188 S Donahue Drive (The Nichols Center) from 9-3 on Saturday, and attendees will be able to enjoy products from both Beyond Meat and Poppi, in addition to themed spaces featuring shows from Amazon Prime and photo opportunities.
There hasn’t been a better weekend to get your tailgate on in Auburn–over 24 recruits will be converging on the Plains and all of Auburn football’s 2022 commits will be in attendance. The Dawgs will be facing the toughest opponent offense yet, and the Tigers may just pull off a huge victory.
