Auburn football EDGE Derick Hall chose violence well after the final whistle on Saturday following the Tigers’ 38-23 victory against Arkansas.

Not that he didn’t choose violence during the win. The Gulf Port native collected three solo and three assisted tackles during the Hog hunt.

But on Saturday night, he took to Twitter to talk his talk after walking the walk alongside an Auburn defense that stopped the Razorbacks on fourth down on multiple occasion.

Here he was rubbing in some bacon grease into the wounds of the ‘Woo Pig’ faithful:

Anthony Schwartz, current member of the Cleveland Browns and the highest-drafted Auburn football player in the 2021 NFL Draft, had a similar sentiment:

It’s now been six seasons since the Razorbacks have been able to knock off the Tigers. AU was in danger of losing their sixth straight game to a ranked opponent themselves. Ultimately, it was the orange and blue that broke their bad luck streak.

Arkansas not only lost this game, but probably lost their AP Top 25 ranking as well. Beating Arkansas-Pine Bluff next week won’t get them back in it either.

Mississippi State, LSU, and Alabama remain in SEC West play for them. Meanwhile for Auburn, MS State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Alabama remain.

The Razorbacks’ two SEC West losses, with the other being to Ole Miss in an over bettor’s delight in Week 6, 52-51, probably take them out of any SEC title conversation. That they even were able to get themselves into the mix at all is a testament to their early season success.

But Auburn football winning on Saturday kept them in the mix with their flawless SEC West record.
