Auburn football picked up its biggest win of the 2021 schedule with a 38-23 trouncing of Arkansas at Razorback Stadium.

Previously, winning in Death Valley–for the first time of the new millennium with the fourth Auburn coach in that time span–registered as the standout triumph in a year that included a few tomato can opponents at home.

Now, a victory against the #18 team marks the first ranked win since the 2019 Iron Bowl for the Tigers. The Bryan Harsin era continues to add milestone victories.

So, what do Harsin and co. get as their reward for their victory? Well, some of the best teams in the country of course.

To be fair, the best might be behind Auburn. Georgia and their downright scary defense are probably the biggest test the Tigers will have this season.

But what remains includes these 3 NFL-bound players, ranked in order of the threats they pose to any Auburn fan on the day they play on the Plains this fall:

Third best Auburn football opposing player left in ’21: Alabama QB Bryce Young

Bryce Young was finally slowed down by Texas A&M in a Week 6 shocker. Alabama losing to an unranked team probably still registers as the season’s biggest upset.

Even in a performance that is considered a down game where he threw 20 incompletions, he still threw for three touchdowns.

Young is picking up where Mac Jones left off and is doing it without a Heisman winner in his receiving core. He’s proven to be susceptible to down games, so it’s not a foregone conclusion that he will torch the Tigers secondary, which looked much improved against the Hogs Saturday.

But Young is a fearsome weapon that should only continue to strike fear into the hearts of Auburn fans everywhere as he continues to tear through the SEC West.
