Monday’s afternoon press conference was feared by many to be one where several high-profile (and controversial) Auburn football rumors would be addressed, but instead, it came and went with little to no fanfare.

Tigers HC Bryan Harsin kept it professional and with a focus on this Saturday’s upcoming night game against the #10 Ole Miss Rebels at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Coming into the presser, there figured to be a question sent Harsin’s way about his COVID-19 vaccination status given Auburn University’s recent mandate, which requires vaccination for every employee by December 8th.

It’s 2021, so of course, there was–from the usual sources too, might I add–but Harsin didn’t divulge.

Just like he always said he wouldn’t:

"“I’m aware of the new policy,” Harsin said. “I appreciate you have to ask the question and understand it…. It doesn’t change the fact I’m not going to discuss any individual’s status on the vaccine, including my own.”"

Next on the itinerary of important issues needing to be addressed, there was the rumors of possible departures from the Auburn football program.

Coming into this afternoon, there was scuttlebutt of possible suspensions:

But there was ultimately nothing spoken by Harsin about anything discipline related. Though that may come at a later date:

As of now, we know that Harsin is high on the improvement the team made during the bye week and aware that he isn’t taking Ole Miss lightly based on his praise of Matt Corral and the program as a whole.
