Before that game, they had knocked off everyone in their path, including LSU and Florida in their previous two weeks before that one-sided snoozer at Sanford Stadium.

Coming off the bye week, one would think that Mississippi State would be a simple cross-divisional conference win for the Wildcats. The Bulldogs do have quality wins over NC State and Texas A&M this season.
