Auburn football is one of the most classically dressed teams in all of college football. The team rarely strays from the regular–all-white for away games, blue jerseys in Jordan-Hare. However, ringing in the era of first-year head coach Bryan Harsin has brought many changes to the Plains, including a few outfit adjustments.

This season, the Tigers have been shaking up the uniform in ways that only Auburn fans would notice, but exciting ways, nonetheless. For the Penn State whiteout game, when Auburn football traveled to Happy Valley, the Tigers revealed white face masks to match the all-white uniforms.

The tiny chance was enough to hype up Auburn fans for a whiteout and to open up the possibility of having different face mask colors throughout the season. The Tigers were biding their time, but it seems a new uniform rumor has emerged: Auburn football could be unveiling orange face masks for the Halloween matchup versus Ole Miss this weekend:

Though nothing has been officially confirmed, fans went crazy once the helmet photo leaked to the internet. Now, the hype is growing for what could be a first-time matchup between the Rebs’ powder blue helmets and the Tigers’ orange face masks.

#18 Auburn and #10 Ole Miss will meet for a spooky primetime matchup on the Plains this Saturday.
