Auburn football will travel all the way to College Station, Texas this weekend for yet another ranked SEC matchup. The #12 Tigers will go toe to toe with the #12 Texas A&M Aggies at Kyle Field, where the orange and blue have yet to lose a game.

Since the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012, the Tigers have played in their home stadium four times and have remained undefeated at Kyle Field. While Auburn football will be looking to add another road win to their record, the Aggies will be looking to use their home-field advantage to come out on top.

Both Auburn and TAMU are 6-2 going into this weekend’s matchup, and even though the Tigers are favored to win, Gig ‘Em Gazette writer Jack Williams predicts that the 12th Man will give the Aggies a slight edge:

"I’m taking Texas A&M in this one because it’s a home game for A&M. Say what you want about these two teams being even — playing in front of the best fans in the country has a big impact on the outcome. I think the 12th man will give the Aggies an edge that they’ll desperately need in this one."

Auburn football has been riding high after wins versus two ranked SEC opponents following the tough loss to Georgia, but A&M is coming in on a three-game winning streak after beating Alabama, Mizzou, and South Carolina. Needless to say, Auburn will be a bit tougher than Missouri and USC.

While the Tigers control their destiny and are reaching towards a trip to Atlanta to compete for the SEC title this season, Texas A&M is tied with Ole Miss for third in the SEC West and will have to face the Rebs after this weekend’s matchup with the Tigers.

Third-year quarterback Bo Nix has seemingly shaken his road game curse, but he’ll have to be firing on all cylinders to pull off a win over the #13 Aggies.
