Well, it’s a good time to be looking for a coaching job in the SEC, and it’s possible that the open spots could have an effect on the Auburn football coaching staff. Coach O was dismissed from LSU following the season earlier this year, and after losing to five straight Power 5 opponents and finishing with a 2-6 SEC record, Dan Mullen has officially been fired from Florida.

After the Gators’ loss to South Carolina last week, it seemed like a distant possibility that Auburn football defensive coordinator Derek Mason could be looking to replace Mullen in order to take on another head coaching position. However, after the Tigers have found themselves in the same position, Auburn’s offensive coordinator may be more of a problem than Mason.

Auburn football has lost to three straight SEC opponents, and now Tiger fans are clamoring for a Mike Bobo-Dan Mullen trade. Fans want Mullen to take over the Auburn OC position:

Fans are extremely upset with Bobo’s playcalling against South Carolina, calling him out for not utilizing running back Tank Bigsby more than three times in the fourth quarter. Though there has been no official word of any movement from the coaching staff of Auburn football, it’s very possible that some coaches are thinking things over with so many high-profile openings.

Next. South Carolina fans show love to Tank Bigsby. dark
