Hearing Nick Saban tear into Alabama Crimson Tide fans yesterday was music to the ears of the Auburn football faithful.
Saban was none too happy with the lack of enthusiasm and support for the team after close wins in recent weeks to SEC rivals.
Of course, we’re literally talking about one-score wins over LSU and Arkansas, which sandwiched a 56-point win over New Mexico State and followed a 28-point win over Tennessee and a 40-point win over Mississippi State.
Last year, three members of the Tide were Heisman finalists and the Tide didn’t lose a single game. This year, they’ve already tasted defeat to Texas A&M and visit what ‘Bammers call the ‘Voodoo Palace’, Jordan-Hare Stadium, to take on an Auburn team they haven’t beat here since 2015…as well as make a trip to Atlanta to take on Georgia in the SEC Championship game.
The thought of falling short of the College Football Playoff after what was truly a perfect 2020 season has pushed Alabama fans to the edge.
And in turn they have pushed Saban to the edge:
WATCH: Nick Saban goes OFF during a pre-Thanksgiving rant directed at “self-absorbed” #Alabama fans that can’t appreciate what they have after a ques. about not blowing teams out.

Leading to some great fun for the Auburn family:
I agree, nick. You should retire so you don’t have to deal with that awful fan base anymore https://t.co/qXksmr2LMM

Saban better refocus on Auburn football and relent on the fans so close to Thanksgiving weekend.
The Tigers are coming. And after that, the Dawgs are coming too. It must be asked: is Alabama falling apart at the finish line?
Enjoy that turkey, Tiger fans. Before that question is answered, we feast!
War Eagle and Happy Thanksgiving!
