WR Prospect trending towards Auburn football #1: Camden Brown

Camden Brown is a 3-star wide receiver out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. The receiver originally committed to Pittsburgh back in July, but backed off and re-opened his recruitment just last week, coincidentally on the same day that Bryan Harsin visited him.

Brown officially visited with Auburn football this past weekend and was extremely impressed.  However, South Carolina is pushing hard for the WR, and one-loss Georiga will host Brown for an official visit next weekend.

Though he’s always considered Auburn to be “top-tier” one of the main draws for Brown is the opportunity to play early on the Plains, which coaches have made well-known to the prospect, per Auburn Undercover:

"“(Receivers coach Eric Kiesau) talked about how I was going to be playing, all the receivers that are going to be leaving. That’s what really stood out to me. And everything going on with Auburn is good.”"

Brown will make his official decision at the beginning of the early signing period on December 15 and will choose between Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida State, and Pitt. The Tigers are in a good spot with Camden Brown, but they’ll have to keep going hard to keep him from UGA.
