Auburn football is in need of a reload through the transfer portal and the Class of 2022 for several different reasons.

The first and most obvious reason revolves around the number of departing seniors. Interestingly enough, that number may not be as high as originally thought, with an extra year of eligibility being granted to every player in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 season may well have left a sour enough taste in the mouths of many Tigers to goad several into returning.
