Auburn football fans and Javion Cohen know each other quite well from the Alabama Crimson Tide OL’s ‘Crimson Crane’ display outside of the Tigers’ Birmingham Bowl practice back in December.
After Bruce Pearl’s Auburn basketball squad squashed Nate Oats’ hardwood Tide and a Suni Lee/Derrian Gobourne-led Auburn gymnastics handled Alabama gymnastics, the two forces have come together once more.
Non-harmoniously of course.
Cohen called out Auburn football after the Tigers’ constant use of the ‘Crimson Crane’ at the Auburn Arena following wins over their in-state rival, literally bringing the “futtbaw” meme to life as a Bammer who can’t talk about anything else.
You know memes and clowning followed:
Do it after you don’t give up sacks in football to a 7-6 team

I would prefer to do it outside of one of the practices that doesn’t concern my team but I also realize it probably won’t be in Birmingham and I live around here. So at least make it close. 👉🥺👈 https://t.co/2GF2HUv9Xd pic.twitter.com/8FvXXOEuLj

Cohen loves to poke the bear that is the Auburn football fanbase, and he is doing so on a rather rough day for the collective. National Signing Day was fruitless, with every target heading elsewhere. Not to mention, Ja’Varrius Johnson took to the transfer portal to further thin out the WR room. A massive transfer portal performance is a must for Bryan Harsin and co. at this point.
Of course, he knows the deal. You ask for the smoke from the ‘Jungle’ and you shall receive it in spades.
