While there have been ugly rumors flying around the Plains for the last few days about the Auburn football program and head coach Bryan Harsin, one thing that has been confirmed is that his players are on his side.

Players that have transferred out of the program want everyone to believe that Harsin isn’t a nice guy, but we knew from the beginning that the weeds were going to have to be pulled before this program could be turned around. However, the only voices that matter are those coming from the guys that have signed on for another year in orange and blue.

Former team captain Chandler Wooten, a strong leader and key piece of Auburn football’s defense in 2021, spoke at length in support of Bryan Harsin, and multiple returners including John Samuel Shenker, Zakoby McClain, Anders Carlson, have all backed their head coach.

Now, even the recruiting class of 2022 is publicly standing with Bryan Harsin, from transfers to high school signees. Former Texas A&M quarterback Zach Calzada shared quotes from John Samuel Shenker on his Instagram story, and then the 2022 signees began to chime in.

From sharing their own thoughts to retweeting in solidarity with returning Auburn football players, it’s clear that these athletes want Harsin to be their coach next season. In the wake of all the rumors, Harsin has maintained that he wants to make Auburn into a championship program, but there are still changes to be made.

Hopefully, Bryan Harsin will get the chance to see things through before he’s forced off the Plains.
