If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past several days, you’re well aware that chaos has ensued around the Auburn football program. After newly-hired offensive coordinator Austin Davis resigned from his position and the Tigers had a pretty unsuccessful signing day, ugly rumors began to fly about head coach Bryan Harsin.

People are insisting that something is wrong with the program because so many players are hitting the transfer portal and coaches are taking other positions, but what else was supposed to happen during the culture change that Harsin has preached since the beginning?

In the midst of the drama, people seem to be forgetting that these are real people with real lives and these are serious, life-changing allegations that are being made. While some are choosing to focus only on the negative, Auburn football players checked in to defend their head coach:

Those that are no longer with the program are letting their opinions be known, but what Auburn football fans should truly pay attention to are those players that are returning for an extra season when they had the option to leave. The guys coming back to the Plains for 2022 believe in Bryan Harsin as their coach, and that is what is important.
