Auburn football: Tigers Twitter loses it over one user’s Urban Myer suggestion
Auburn football fans are at an all-time level of reactivity right now because of the unparalleled drama this program is treating (or rather mistreating) fans to for the second straight offseason.
Last year, there was the #StopSteele movement following Gus Malzahn’s ouster. That should have been the peak of the head coaching drama Tiger fans would witness in the “roarin’ twenties”.
But the roars grew even more agonizing in 2022 with all of the recent unresolved drama surrounding Bryan Harsin and his potential ouster from the Plains after a single losing season with the Tigers.
Well, if Harsin is going, Auburn football fans are going to speculate. And a Twitter user named Cowboy Jarquez–an ode to RB Jarquez Hunter and his headwear–got the people going with a provocative suggestion of Urban Meyer:

These are some tough times for the fanbase, but it’d be even tougher to see Meyer hired after the way things went down with the Jacksonville Jaguars this past season.
Hiring Meyer would send some wildly mixed messages after what the Auburn Board of Trustees is trying to do to remove Harsin as head coach.
