Today is the day, Auburn football fans. We’ve nearly reached the halfway point in the month of March, and the Tigers are officially beginning 2022 spring practices.

While there’s much to accomplish during the spring this year, from the five-way quarterback battle to determining the top wide receivers, second-year head coach Bryan Harsin and his staff are not slowing down on the recruiting trail and will be using the March sessions to lure in prospects from around the country.

On Day 1 of this year’s spring practices, Auburn football will be hosting a pair of 4-star defensive backs–Avieon Terrell and Braxton Myers–for unofficial visits.

4-star cornerback Avieon Terrell is the younger brother of Clemson standout A.J. Terrell. The Atlanta native is currently listed as the #242 overall prospect and the #26 cornerback in the recruiting class of 2023 in addition to being the #25 recruit out of the state of Georgia, per 247Sports.

Although Terrell is likely considered to be a Clemson lean due to his older brother, he told On3 Sports that Michigan State and Auburn football are up on his list too and that his main goal is to find a family atmosphere at the next level:

"“If I were to go to a college, I wouldn’t have to go back home I could just stay there because it feels like family,” Terrell said. “The coaches there can get on to me just like my dad gets on me. It’s just about family for me.”"

Also visiting the Plains Monday is 4-star safety, Braxton Myers. The Texas native has over 30 offers from top programs around the country including Clemson, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Texas, and received his offer from Auburn football during his first visit to campus for the 2021 Iron Bowl.

Clearly, that visit made an impression on the safety as he’s coming back to Auburn for a second time. Ranked as the #109 overall prospect and the #6 safety in the recruiting class of 2023, getting Myers to commit to the Tigers would be a huge win for Harsin and his coaching staff.
