Sean Jackson is making early waves in Auburn football spring camp

Sean Jackson has a golden opportunity to shine in the absence of Jarquez Hunter this spring. He’s already been taking center stage with his play:

"[Jackson] making positive impressions during the winter workouts. A good spring camp could see the 5-foot-9, 236 Hewitt-Trussville High alum get time as the third option at running back. He’ll also see a lot of action on special teams."

With Hunter’s absence for the next two months, A-Day will be a great chance for Jackson to continue his ascension up the RB room ladder.

Jordon Ingram could steal some reps as well

Don’t write off the Mobile, Alabama product Jordon Ingram doing some damage in the Tigers backfield himself.

The Central Michigan transfer has already gotten off to a hot start in spring camp so far:

"Jordon Ingram had a touchdown run of at least 20 yards, shaking off a couple of would-be tacklers in the middle of the field before breaking it out to the right side for the score."

A physical back just like Jackson, Ingram appears able to create separation in the open field and that could be a boon for an offense that didn’t feature a ton of game-breaking runs when conference play kicked into high gear in 2021.
