Auburn football is continuing to stand out to many top recruits across the country in the recruiting class of 2023 whether it is due to relationships being cultivated by the coaching staff or the NFL experience some of the coaches have to offer.

Yesterday, 4-star defensive lineman Will Norman from the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, narrowed his list of suitors down to the top seven, and Auburn football made the cut.

Norman is listed as the #88 overall prospect and the #12 defensive lineman in the recruiting class of 2023 in addition to being the #18 recruit out of the state of Florida. Prior to making the move to the IMG Academy, Norman played football in his hometown of Camden, New Jersey.

In addition to the Auburn football program, Norman is still considering LSU, Florida, Penn State, Michigan, Florida State, and Texas A&M. He has taken unofficial visits to Florida State, Penn State, and Florida, and visited Texas A&M over the summer.

Norman has not yet made it to the Plains, but that will change this week as the defensive lineman is set to be on Auburn’s campus this Saturday, April 2, for an unofficial visit. Following his visit with Auburn football, Norman is set to return to College Station the next weekend, per 247 Sports.

Auburn Live reports that the Florida Gators are currently the likely leaders for Norman, but with the elite defensive lineman headed to the Plains this weekend, Auburn football has the chance to make a significant move in Norman’s recruitment.

D-Line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh has been doing a fantastic job at building strong relationships with potential prospects as of late, and could absolutely sway Norman to favor the Tigers by the end of the weekend.
