The season of official visits has arrived, and Auburn football is hosting an assortment of recruits in the coming weeks and into the summer months from around the state and across the country. This week, two 4-star recruits have set their official visits to the Plains.

The first is 4-star linebacker Jordan Hall. Ranked as the #156 overall prospect and the #10 LB in the recruiting class of 2023 and the #30 recruit out of the state of Florida, Hall currently attends the IMG Academy.

So far, Hall has taken official visits to Florida and Michigan State, but has taken unofficial visits to many programs including Alabama, Florida State, Miami, UCF, Penn State, and North Carolina. The Tigers’ in with Hall is his relationship with linebackers coach Christian Robinson, who has been recruiting the linebacker throughout his move from Florida to the Plains.

Hall will take his official visit with Auburn football on June 17, per Auburn Undercover.

Another 4-star that recently set his official visit with the Tigers is offensive tackle Wilkin Formby. The Tuscaloosa native included Auburn football in his top five schools last week. He’s ranked as the #151 overall prospect and the #16 offensive tackle in the recruiting class of 2023, and is the #14 recruit out of the state of Alabama.

Although the 247 Sports Crystal Ball projects Formby to choose Ole Miss, the in-state OT told Auburn Undercover that his bond with Auburn offensive line coach Will Friend gives him a strong connection with the Tigers:

"“The bond with Coach Friend was always there just simply because my old coach was his roommate in college,” Formby says. “Off the start we were very close. My coach recommended him and I decided to come to the camp to check him out. The relationship is very strong with everyone else there, but the one with me and Coach Friend is definitely special.”"

Formby will take his official visit to the Plains on June 17, the same day as Jordan Hall.
