Auburn football fans joined other college football fanbases in pouring it on ‘Bammers for Agiye Hall’s bearish remarks about their culture.

Hall transferred from Tuscaloosa to the University of Texas this past offseason after appearing in three games for Alabama in 2021. One of those games included the CFP National Championship game against Georgia, where he caught two passes for 52 yards.

Hall had this to say when asked by Chip Brown, 247Sports Texas Longhorns reporter: “One thing that really stood out is the culture. Bama fans — they’re not really loving, if I could say — even when you leave.” He was far more complimentary of his time in the Lone Star State, saying that Longhorn Nation is like a family.

Auburn football fans joined the cavalcade of college football Avengers storming the ‘Thanos’ of the sport’s fanbase for their behavior:

Of course, Alabama has a big matchup against Texas in Austin on September 10th, so these comments are beginning to fuel the fire for that matchup. The two teams last played for the National Championship following the 2009 season.

The same day, AU also plays a non-conference opponent when San Jose State visits Jordan-Hare Stadium. Alabama-Texas will be a non-conference game for the last time this fall, as Texas makes its way to the SEC in 2025. The Big 12 will welcome Cincinnati, UCF, BYU, and Houston even before then, during the 2023 fall season.
