The visitor lists are constantly growing longer for Auburn football as the spring months come to an end and summer begins to hit the Plains. This week, two more 4-star prospects have set official visits for a closer look at campus and the Tigers’ football program.

Heading to the Plains for his official visit on May 20 is 4-star offensive tackle Connor Stroh. The Texas native is ranked as the #396 overall prospect and the #28 offensive tackle in the recruiting class of 2023 and is the #65 recruit out of the Lone Star State.

The Tigers were selected as part of Stroh’s list of top five schools back in April along with Texas A&M, Arkansas, Florida, and Texas, a selection that gives strong preference to the SEC. Texas A&M is expected to be a contender in the homestretch because both of Stroh’s parents attended the school, but Stroh has been vocal about liking what he sees on the Plains.

Also setting an official visit date is 4-star defensive tackle Sydir Mitchell. Ranked as the #225 overall prospect and the #32 defensive lineman in the recruiting class of 2023 as well as the #3 recruit out of the state of New Jersey, Mitchell will officially visit the Plains June 24-26.

Mitchell visited Auburn football earlier this year and really enjoyed the chance to see the team and the coaching staff in action, per Auburn Undercover:

"“The coaching staff is great. I was able to get there for a practice and I like how the defense and offense go at each other. It was really good to be able to see Auburn, and see what they have coaching staff-wise and facility-wise, and see what they are going to change in their program.”"

Mitchell will also take official visits to Texas A&M, Texas, and Georgia, and plans to make a final decision sometime in the month of August.
